The Spanish word Cimarrón refers to that which cannot be tamed. The creator of the performance work Cimarrón is Sally Lewry, a theater maker based in Melbourne. Recently we shot some editorial photography for Silverkris, the Singapore Airlines in-flight magazine. The images were for an article about “Secret Melbourne” – focusing on places that aren’t the usual tourist traps, but instead are difficult to stumble across without being told where to find them.
